What's new

What has changed in each version of our apps

Version 1.7.0

10/27/2026

  • Items you got from the catalog follow the catalog when it is corrected, as long as you have not changed them yourself. What you have already logged does not change
  • If you have changed an item that has been corrected in the catalog, the item shows what the catalog says now, and you can take in the catalog's values with one tap
  • Fixed: the app could hang at startup if it was closed while it was updating its data

Version 1.6.0

10/25/2026

  • Your own goal for a day: set a different goal for one day, and see it on the day card and in the calendar
  • The treat budget is taken from "kcal left", and the Treats card shows how much of it you have left
  • Statistics show food and treats for the day you tap
  • Macros are on one row in the day card
  • Change the time of a meal
  • Scanned items can be added as a meal from the Meals tab
  • Speak your food on Windows: speech is understood on your PC, and what it needs is downloaded the first time you tap the microphone
  • The microphone stays in the chat field when it has text, and a message that failed can be sent again with "Try again"
  • An i next to the daily goal explains it and says that your goals can be changed
  • A new first impression on the welcome screen, with a choice of language
  • The app says what is accepted when a password, a name or an email address is rejected
  • Errors from the catalog are shown at the field they belong to
  • The licences for the parts the app builds on are in Settings
  • Fixed: the permission cards for the microphone and speech did not work on Mac

Version 1.5.0

10/22/2026

  • Treats are part of the plan, not a break from it: a new introduction shows why, how the treat share in your daily goal works, and the main features. See it again from Settings
  • Food and treats as separate numbers under the day bar
  • Tips at the top of the main pages, and an i next to the numbers that explains them. Show the tips again from Settings
  • Estimate from a photo: take a photo of your food in the AI chat, and check and adjust the suggestion before you save it
  • Fill in with AI: if a product you scan is missing from the catalog, take a photo of the nutrition label to fill in the form
  • Make a meal from an ingredient, like yogurt with blueberries
  • A meal can have its own unit, so you can log it per piece
  • Meals you log on the day itself show the time you logged them
  • The AI chat shows the brand, and uses it to tell your items apart
  • The microphone stops by itself when you have stopped talking (not on Windows yet)
  • The app starts in your device's language the first time
  • Log in and Save are always active, and the app shows the field to fix
  • Fixed: tapping rows in lists did not work on Windows

Version 1.4.0

10/19/2026

  • Logging with AI: type or say what you ate, the app suggests the rows, and nothing is saved until you tap "Add". Requires an account, and the app asks for your consent the first time
  • The microphone on the Add page opens the chat and keeps listening until you tap Stop, also when you pause (not on Windows yet)
  • Carry over to the next meal: if you go over or under the budget for a meal, the difference moves to the next meal that day. Optional, in your goal
  • Daily goal margin: a day slightly over your limit, or slightly under a target to reach, still counts as on track. Optional, in your goal
  • More in statistics: nutrients, a comparison with last week, the last 12 weeks and what you log most, which you can log again in one tap
  • Treats get their own card in the daily log when your meals have budgets and the treat share is on
  • Your country now belongs to your account: choose it when you sign up or on the account page, and it follows you to a new phone
  • The amount starts in the item's own unit at 1 when you log, so one tap logs one
  • When saving stops, the app takes you to the field to fix and says what is wrong

Version 1.3.0

10/13/2026

  • Pick several things in one go when you add to your log, and set a quantity both when you pick and on a line you have already logged
  • Meal builder: a picked item becomes a row with its own amount field, so you can type "4 pcs" straight in
  • Suggestions to save: when you have logged the same items together three times, the app suggests saving them as a meal
  • Prices per chain in Norway: see what an item costs at the chains, and add the price you saw in the store
  • Fiber and salt: add them to your items and see them in your day
  • Log in the item's own unit: type "3 glasses" or "2.5 dl" instead of grams, and see it that way in your daily log
  • Deciliters as a portion unit, with a suggestion for how much one deciliter weighs
  • Enter the pack's net weight and how many it holds, and the app works out the weight and calories per piece
  • Passwords no longer need an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number, but cannot be one of the most common passwords
  • Clear the code in one tap when you need to type an emailed code again
  • "What's new" in Settings shows what is new in each version

Version 1.2.0

10/11/2026

  • Just calories: log calories straight into your day without creating an item first
  • Photos of your items and meals now show in the daily log
  • Tap a photo to see it in full screen and zoom in
  • Pick the portion unit from a list, so "2 slices" reads right
  • Scanned items have one photo, and you choose whether to share it with the catalog
  • Select several screenshots at once when you contact support
  • Tap the X in a name or brand field to clear it in one go
  • Fat, carbohydrates and protein now come in the same order as on the packaging
